Stacking

Ideal for Toddler, Preschool/Pre-K, School-Age

This activity promotes development and learning by encouraging children to:

  • Understand the properties of specific shapes.
  • Design and engineer.

Materials Needed:

  • Plastic cups
  • Wooden cubes/blocks
  • Popsicle sticks

Directions:

  1. Use the materials to construct towers, buildings, and other fun structures!
  2. If it falls, determine the cause and keep building!
  3. Experiment with balance. Get creative!
  4. How high can you build?
