This activity promotes development and learning by encouraging children to:

  • Follow multi-step directions.
  • Practice executive function skills, working memory, cognitive flexibility and inhibitory control.

Why is Mindfulness Important? When we teach children these practices, we’re giving them a gift that will reward them for years in the future. Some of the benefits include:

Directions: Follow along as Ms. Debbie calms her body while strengthening her muscles and focus through mindful yoga positions.
