Participants: This activity is intended for adult/child interaction.
- Listen with your child to various types of music. How does the music make your child feel? How does it make you feel? Dance with your child, changing your movements to reflect changes in the music’s tone and tempo.
- Ask your child to make some music and offer common household objects, such as a wooden spoon, bowls, food containers, or other materials as musical instruments.
- Talk with your child throughout this experience. Introduce words such as music, loud, soft, fast, or slow.
