Going on a Bear Hunt!

Ideal for Infant, Toddler

This activity promotes development and learning by encouraging children to understand and use a growing vocabulary.

Materials Needed:

Participants: This activity is intended for adult/child interaction

Directions:

  1. Read the story to your child or watch Michael Rosen share it online at the link above. Be animated in the telling, including hand gestures and movements.
  2. Read the story again later and help your child repeat the movements.
  3. If your child is interested, explore some of the elements in the story in greater detail. Walk through grass, water, or mud. Throw a sheet over a table for a cave.
